Alpha Launches New 12-Channel Speech/Music MCU --- AM4J Series ( 2014.03.12 )

Alpha Microelectronics Corporation brings its voice synthesizing technology up to a better level by introducing a brand new 12-Channel Speech/Music MCU series called the AM4J series, targeting educational and gift products.

With its built-in 12-Channel Speech/Music synthesizer, the AM4J series can output different 12 voices simultaneously at any combinations. Users can determine the number of channels to be used by MIDI or voice freely and also reserve channels for inserting sound effects. The AM4J series utilizes the latest voice synthesizing technology and all the channels are built-in Alpha’s renowned Audio Filter technology that is capable of delivering sound experience close to reality with high-resolution voice output.

The AM4J series provides a full lineup covers from 16 to 40 I/O and 20 to 1020 seconds speech capacity for customers to be chose from. Other unique features such as SPI, PWMIO, ADC, LVDT　and standby counter are also available. Furthermore, the AM4J series has frequency calibration feature that can ensure IC’s frequency tolerance to be within plus/minus 2% when using RC mode.
